Overseas Visitors

In order to qualify for the competition, overseas visitors must present credentials showing they are a current member in good standing of their IPSC Region of residence (see Section 6.5 of the IPSC rulebook). Advance confirmation from your Regional Director is mandatory.

Firearms: Each registered competitor is allowed to import two (2) handguns, two (2) shotguns and two (2) centerfire rifles, as well as ammunition for use in the match. There is no restriction on barrel length, magazine capacity or action type in respect of any firearms temporarily imported into the Philippines.

Applications for temporary importation of firearms and ammunition must be received by the match organizers by fax or email, no later than 15 August 2009.

While in the Philippines, competitors are fully responsible for their firearms at all times, and must comply with the regulations specified in the firearms permit. Firearms must be stored securely when not in use at the firing range. Firearms should be stored in the in-room safe when at the hotel, and always in a secure gun case when in transport.

Competitors wishing to minimise the hassles of travelling internationally with three or more guns can use the pump-action Armscor and Hatsan shotguns, as well as unscoped AR-15 rifles, which will be available for use, free of charge, as house guns on each stage.

Additionally, competitors who prefer to rent a shotgun and/or rifle for their exclusive use to shoot all stages should contact us for details.

Visas: With the exception of a few nationalities, a temporary visitor to the Philippines may enter the Philippines without a visa for a period of 7 days to 59 days (depending on nationality). General information may be found at the Bureau of Immigration website.

If your nationality is not mentioned on the list provided by the BOI, you are advised to contact your nearest Philippine embassy or consulate for the issuance of a temporary visitor visa.

Flights: When registering for the match, it is essential that participants indicate their flight number, arrival date and entry airport. Similar information is required in respect of ultimate departure from the Philippines. Accuracy of this information is essential if you want to be assisted at the airport by the match organizers.

Airports: Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila (MNL) is the main airport of entry for most international travelers flying to the Philippines. Transfer to Clark by land will be organised upon request. Clark is located 90 kms north of Manila and is accessed via the recently upgraded North Expressway. Estimated travel time to Clark is about 2 hours.

Clark is served by the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (CRK). A limited number of direct flights to and from Clark is available from both domestic and international cities in Asia. Flight schedules can be viewed on the Clark-DMIA official website.

Match Hotel: Reservations at the Hotel Vida will be made on a “first-come, first-served basis” during the registration process, at which time you'll be required to make a one night guarantee to secure the reservation. Please use the form on the Registration page.

Free transportation will be provided daily between the hotel and the shooting ranges, provided the hotel booking is arranged through us. Persons booking directly, and those staying at other hotels, must make their own transportation arrangements.
